Students at the Richfield campus of Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) are involved in activities that support and expand upon their courses. Our faculty members, all experienced professionals in their fields, act as advisors and resources to student groups.
These organizations give students a great opportunity to expand their knowledge of their fields. They able to network with peers and teachers with similar interests and goals. Student organizations at our Richfield campus
Our most popular student organizations include the following:
- DEX, the college version of DECCA, an international business organization. Students from a variety of programs participate in competitions that also give them great opportunities for networking, enhancing their professional skills and preparing them for the workforce.
- MSBNO – Minnesota School of Business Nursing Organization. This group of nursing students organizes charitable events, sponsors networking opportunities, and offers general support as students prepare to enter the nursing field.
- MSB Danceline. This women’s group participates in dance competitions with many other colleges in Minnesota such as St. Thomas and St. Benedict.
Help from our Student Services department
Our Student Services department exists to help students. This is the place to go with questions about housing. Staff members also provide support to students who wish to start a new on-campus activity or group. This department is also a resource for students looking for health care and help with their finances, transportation or other issues common to students at GU/MSB-Richfield.
Relax in our commons area
You can relax, study and work on joint projects in our bright commons area. We have bulletin boards, vending machines and big tables so you can spread out.
Visitors to campus
When you’re a student at GU/MSB-Richfield, you will often see visitors – prospective students and employers. We have job fairs that introduce area employers to our students and our programs. Job fairs are also a chance for students to get acquainted with the opportunities they will find upon graduation. Other visitors include outside vendors who set up shop at our campus, selling scrubs, buying used textbooks and offering school merchandise. Our college is a busy place.
