Many of the students at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield are adult learners. In the years since high school, they have been working, caring for families or serving in the military. What returning students have in common is their commitment to expanding their skills through higher education. We know that adult learners have many responsibilities. In addition to taking college classes, they work and care for their families. That’s why we offer many classes in the evening so that students can continue to make progress toward their degrees. It’s also why we allow students to attend part-time. Having options allows returning students to stay in school. We want to make it work for you.
Adult students bring a great deal to our classrooms. They possess real-world experience that a recent high school graduate simply does not have. They have been in the workforce, have raised families and juggled the many demands on their time that comes with life in today’s world. They have an important perspective that enriches the classroom experience for instructors and students alike.

Adults returning to college may apply for all scholarships for which they are eligible, but one of our financial aid programs may particularly appropriate for adult learners. Our Business Alliance Scholarship program awards scholarships to employees of partnership businesses who have taken the steps to become approved strategic partners with GU/MSB. Eligible students may receive up to 10% of tuition costs if they enroll in associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree programs while employed by a GU/MSB business partner.
