Earn a Paralegal Degree in our Certificate Program

A paralegal certificate from Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield allows students to build upon their bachelor’s degrees. They can earn certificates in as few as nine months (three quarters) of full time study.

Contact our Richfield campus at 800-752-4223 to learn about our paralegal certificate program. Talk with a representative who can help you determine whether our certificate meets your career goals and interests.

Career options for paralegals

Paralegals deliver legal services under the direction of an attorney. They work in law firms, government agencies, educational institutions, corporations and non-profits. They work in many practice areas, including business law, family law and intellectual property law.

Admission to our certificate program

Students with bachelor’s degrees in almost any subject are eligible for admission to our paralegal certificate program. Applicants must provide official undergraduate or graduate transcripts that demonstrate completion of the bachelor’s degree; we also require a current professional resume. International students may submit baccalaureate transcripts for evaluation.

Online certificate available

This certificate program is available through our online college. Students with demanding jobs, hectic travel schedules or family responsibilities often find that studying online is the only way they can achieve their career goals. Online students also find that they are able to save time and money by eliminating long commutes, childcare fees and bus fares.

Program designed by legal professionals

Like our other paralegal programs, our certificate was developed with the help of legal professionals who know the training that employers look for. The paralegals, attorneys and law firm managers who make up our program advisory committee (PAC) also help us review our program regularly to ensure that we continue to provide students with the most up-to-date education and training.
