Two degree programs

GU/MSB-Richfield offers two criminal justice programs:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. This program covers topics such as correctional counseling, criminal justice administration, cybercrime, victimology and community policing. We offer classes year-round, allowing students to complete this four-year degree in three years of full-time study.
  • Associate degree in criminal justice. This program covers basic principles in criminal justice. Subjects include investigative processes and procedures, security, corrections, behavioral science, legal terminology and criminal law and procedure. The associate degree program can be completed in 18 months of full-time study.

Both of our criminal justice programs include general education requirements that help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Classes available online and on campus

Both criminal justice programs at MSB-Richfield are available through our online college. This allows students to complete coursework any time of day, any place they have an internet connection. It also saves them time and money commuting to and from campus. Students can also combine online classes with on-campus courses—staff members help students coordinate schedules that work best for them.
