Technology Degree Programs

At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield, we offer three degree programs in technology fields. Graduates of these programs are prepared for rewarding careers in this growing industry.

Contact our Richfield campus at 800-752-4223 to learn about our college and technology degrees. A representative can help you determine which program best matches your interests and goals.

Technology programs

We offer three degree programs in the technology field.

Students can add to their credentials by earning certifications in software and hardware such as A+, Network+, Microsoft systems and applications, Linux+, Security+ and Cisco. Students can also prepare for Network Administrator and Wireless Security certifications.

Career opportunities

Students who earn technology degrees have many career opportunities open to them. The field continues to grow. Both producers and consumers of technology need people who know the industry.

Students who complete technology degree programs can look forward to careers such as the following:

  • Database administrator
  • Network administrator
  • Software developer
  • Computer support specialist
  • Programmer
  • Digital game developer

It is impossible to predict where the industry will be in five or ten years. But people with technology training will be able to adapt to new developments in the field.

Online option available

The degree programs in information technology and programming and game development are available through our online college. Students can study and complete assignments whenever and wherever they have Internet access. They save money on commuting, childcare and bus fare. They can continue to work, travel or care for their children. Online study is the only option for some students — they would be unable to attend college without the flexibility online education offers.

Program advisory committees

We developed our degrees in programming and game development and information technology with the help of program advisory committees (PACs). Members of the PACs are experts in their fields who know the training and education that employers seek when hiring new technology professionals. They also help us review our programs regularly so that we continue to provide students with the most up-to-date training.
