Digital Video Programs

Landing a position in digital video and related areas is a dream for many. You can make this dream come true by completing a degree or diploma in digital video and media production. At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield, we offer an associate degree and a technical diploma in this field. MSB provides a big studio where students can go in and work on projects, like a small demo reel. You can check out a camera. One of the most valuable parts of the program is the internship. I can go out of state to do my internship and I’m excited about that, because I can go to Chicago or Los Angeles.

Career opportunities for graduates of a digital video program

Graduates of our diploma or degree program can look forward to a variety of career opportunities. They work in many different industries and find positions such as the following:

• DVD author

Graduates also develop freelance careers and own independent production studios and other small businesses. They are trained for success as entrepreneurs.

We developed our associate degree and technical diploma programs in digital video and media production with the help of pros who know the field. Coursework for our digital video programs

Many of our courses focus on hands-on training and are based on the belief that the best way to learn how to make videos is to make videos. Students in either program learn by doing while they complete 67 credits of core coursework:

Students in our associate degree program also complete 30 credits of general education requirements. A student can complete the AAS degree program in 21 months of full time study and earn a technical diploma is 15 months.
