Preparation for further study

The two year degree program in music business can also serve as a foundation for students seeking further education. Students can return to school to earn business management bachelor’s degrees with an emphasis in music business.  They can also complete our bachelor's degree in media business. In either case, most of the credits from the associate degree program will transfer smoothly to the new degree program.

Students who have been working in the industry may be able to reduce the number of classes they need to take for the BS degree by seeking credit for work experience and prior learning. This can save them both time and money. Please contact your campus dean about the process of applying for credit.
