What does an HR professional do?

A human resources specialist is involved in all aspects of employee management — recruiting, hiring, coaching and training. Students can look forward to working in areas such as:

  • Benefits
  • Compliance
  • Budgets
  • Labor relations
  • Appraisals and reviews
  • Fulfillment

In addition to working in large organizations and government agencies, graduates will also be ready for owning and operating small businesses.

Who designed this program?

We designed this bachelor’s degree program in business management: human resources with the help of professionals in the field. Members of our program advisory committee (PAC), these advisors know the skills and training that an employer looks for when hiring HR staff. They also help us review our program regularly to ensure that we are providing students with the most current information.
