Areas of emphases in business management
Our business management bachelor’s degree allows students to focus on one area. They are able to study their fields in-depth, giving them an unusual level of knowledge. Students chose among the following areas of emphasis:
- Agricultural Business
- Finance
- Hospitality Management
- Human Resources Management
- Marketing
- Music Business
Study online or on campus
With the exception of the music business emphasis, the business management degree is available online. Students can complete their assignments and projects whenever and wherever they have Internet access. Students can continue to work and care for their families. They can save money on gas and child care. They can reduce the amount of time spent commuting. Our online division provides the same high level of support that we give our on-campus students. We are dedicated to their success.
Program requirements
Students complete a minimum of 181 credits for the BS degree in business management. They take 77 quarter credits of core requirements that include accounting, communications, management and other courses in business fundamentals. They also complete 55 credits of general education classes. They complete 49 credits in the area of emphasis. When students finish the program requirements for this degree, they are ready to start careers that lead to management in their chosen areas.
College credit for experience or prior learning
Students can complete this program in three years of full-time study. If they receive credit for prior learning and work experience, completing the degree may take less time. Students can contact their campus dean about the process of applying for credit.
