Practical training that works for students and employers
Our tradition of working with professionals in the field continues in the classroom. Accounting classes are taught by instructors with years of experience in accounting. Most of them continue to practice their professions while teaching. Their combination of knowledge and practical experience means that a graduate is ready to contribute to an employer’s organization from the first day on the job. There is little need for the kind of practical instruction that often occupies a new employee’s first days or weeks.
Flexible scheduling ― online, part time or evenings
Many of our students find that earning an accounting degree online makes sense. They may have unpredictable work schedules or need to care for family members. Online college allows them to complete assignments and projects whenever and wherever they have Internet access. Completing an accounting degree online allows students to save money on commuting and child care. They may also save time on commuting, giving them more time to study.
