The availability of financial aid is one of the top criteria that students use when choosing a college. At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield, we offer scholarships to students in a number of categories. GU/MSB-Scholarships
Many students at GU/MSB-Richfield are able to fund their college educations through scholarships, loans and grants. Students who meet eligibility criteria are qualified for scholarships exclusively for high school students or military students. Read on for more information about financing your college education.
Scholarships for high school seniors. We offer the High School Advantage Program, the President’s Scholarship and the Director’s Academic Scholarship. Eligibility criteria apply, so contact the financial aid administrator at GU/MSB-Richfield to learn more.
Scholarships for military students.We offer military students and their dependents a variety of scholarships, including the Military Advantage Scholarship, the Purple Heart Scholarship and the Military Service Scholarship.
Community Service Scholarship. This scholarship rewards students for community service and continued college enrollment. The Richfield campus of GU/MSB offers two scholarships each quarter to qualifying applicants. The scholarships provide $2000 annually in tuition assistance. A qualified student will have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and an attendance record of 90%. Contact your financial aid administrator for further information.
Dream Act Scholarship. GU/MSB-Richfield awards one scholarship equal to 50 percent of the recipient’s total program cost. This scholarship is awarded to undocumented students who have resided in Minnesota and attended a Minnesota high school for at least two years. Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Other eligibility requirements apply, so call a financial aid administrator to learn more.
Business Alliance Scholarship. This scholarship program awards up to 10% of program costs to students who are employees of one of our business alliance partners. Check with your human resources department to find out whether your employer is one of our business partners, or call a financial aid advisor at GU/MSB-Richfield.
Professional Certification Scholarships. This program reimburses students dfor certification examination fees in areas such as accounting, information technology, massage tehrapy and medical assistant.

Loans and grants
Eligible students may obtain grants and loans from sources other than GU/MSB. In particular, there are a number of federal grant and loan programs that assist qualified students with the cost of tuition, fees and books. These programs are available through federal and state government, banks and a variety of non-profits. Consult a financial aid administrator for further information.
