Complete your associate program in less than two years

Depending on the program, a student may be able to complete an AAS degree in less than two years of full-time study. And if students receive credit for prior learning or work experience, they may be able to reduce the number of classes they need to complete.  They save time and money and enter the work force more quickly.

 Our AAS degree programs

We offer programs in the following areas:

Business

  • Accounting and Tax Specialist. This degree program gives students a thorough understanding of standard accounting practices, with an emphasis on the skills needed by accounting practitioners in financial accounting, taxation and business consulting.
  • Management Accounting. The objective of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of standard accounting practices and to train them in general business fundamentals.
  • Business Administration. This degree program prepares students for practical work in management, marketing or accounting. Students learn fundamental principles of business methods and procedures.
  • Music Business. Students are prepared for entry-level positions in the music industry and for self-employment as independent entrepreneurs. They complete courses in basic business fundamentals and study the music and entertainment industries in depth.
  • Sales & Marketing. This program prepares students for entry-level positions in sales or marketing. They learn the fundamentals of developing sales or marketing strategies. They are also prepared to become successful independent business owners.
  • Transportation Business. The student with a current CDL, Class A+ license or heavy equipment operator’s license is eligible for admission to this two-year degree program. Students learn business fundamentals that prepare them for management positions in transportation-related industries.

Creative Media

  • Digital Video and Media Production. Students learn digital video editing, scripting, storyboarding, motion graphics, sound, lighting and DVD design and authoring. They are prepared for entry-level positions such as digital video editor, scriptwriter, storyboard artist and motion graphic developer.
  • Interactive Media and Graphic Design. This program offers students training in the skills they need for positions in advertising design and production, graphic design and print or web page production.

Health Sciences

  • Medical Administrative Assistant. The goals of this program are to provide students with skills needed for employment as allied health professionals performing the duties of medical secretaries and administrative assistants in health care settings.
  • Medical Assistant. This program prepares students to assist physicians in delivering health care services to clients. They learn how to perform administrative, clinical and laboratory procedures.

Information Technology

  • Information Technology. Students in this program complete courses in areas such as software development, database design, networks and information security. They are prepared for career opportunities in network support and software development.
  • Programming and Game Development. This AAS degree program provides students with technical skills necessary for entry-level employment in the field of programming and software development. Students complete courses in animation, game development and audio that prepare them for careers in the game development field.

Legal Sciences

  • Criminal Justice. This program covers topics in criminal law and procedure, behavioral science, American legal systems and legal terminology. Students prepare for positions in corrections, the courts and law enforcement support.
  • Paralegal. This two-year associate degree program prepares graduates for entry-level positions in the legal field, where they work directly under the supervision of attorneys, assisting in the delivery of legal services.
