Admissions Process

At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) Richfield, we help you with the admissions process. We know that it can be confusing to students, so we assist in any way we can. Even if you apply online, we are available to answer questions about admissions.

Contact our Richfield campus at 800-752-4223 to learn about admissions at our Richfield campus. We’re here to help.

The first step – meet with us

Our college admissions process is designed to be as easy and straightforward as possible. The first step is to meet with an admissions representative who can review our programs and help you determine which one is right for you. You can also learn about student activities, financial aid and take a tour of the campus. Your family and friends are welcome to join you.

The next step – complete the application

One you have chosen a degree or diploma program that matches your career goals, fill out the application form. Our admissions representatives can help with the process. If you’re doing this on your own, you can always call us if you have a question.

Step three – talk with a financial aid representative

Most of the students at GU/MSB-Richfield have some type of financial aid. Scholarships, grants and loans are available to help students cover the cost of college. We can help you determine whether you are eligible for these programs and even get you started on the application process for a scholarship, loan or grant.

Step four – learn about college credit for learning and work

Many of our students have been at other colleges or have been in the workforce. Students such as these are often able to obtain credit for prior learning and work experience. Depending on his or her GU/MSB program, a student may be able to receive college credit for up to 75% of required classes. This saves students time and money – we do not charge tuition for credits awarded for work experience and prior learning.

Step five – attend an orientation session

At this meeting, you will receive your schedule, buy your books and tour the campus if you haven’t already done so. This is also the time to ask any questions you may have about college policies, student activities and anything else about being a student at GU/MSB-Richfield. You are now ready to start attending classes and preparing for the future.
